North Salem, NY
121 Restaurant & Bar in North Salem served up something a little different on Columbus Day weekend, offering visitors hors d’oeuvres and drinks seasoned with a little art and jazz.
The restaurant hosted an art opening for two local artists, Donna Rossi an abstract impressionist a member of the Brown Street Studios in Peekskill and Linda Austrian, award winning photographer and active member of the Color Camera Club of Westchester, the Westchester Photographic Society and the Mamaroneck Artists Guild.
121 Restaurant held the show as part of the “Entrée to Hope” promotion in which local restaurants have partnered with three leading Westchester nonprofit agencies, The Food Bank of Westchester, Grace Church Community Center and Literacy Volunteers of Westchester to raise money to provide food, shelter and education for Westchester’s neediest. Proceeds from all sales will benefit the programs operated by the three participating agencies.
Rossi and Austrian exhibited their work in the lower level gallery of 121 Restaurant & Bar located at 2 Dingle Ridge Rd. in North Salem and the exhibition will run until November 16th. The gallery is open to the public most days from 12:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. For more information contact 914-669-0121.
