ESTABLISH AN ENDOWMENT
You may establish an endowment by making a cash gift to be
invested with the stipulation that only the income, or a portion
of the income, be donated to GCCC once or twice a year. There
are a number of variations in the way your endowment can be
set up. For example, you can stipulate that a portion of the
annual income from the endowment be re-invested to ensure
that future earnings keep pace with inflation, or that the
endowment be terminated after a specified number of years.
For more information on setting up an endowment, please contact
Eddie Lopez, Director of Development at 914-949-3098 ext.130.
PLANNED
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
While cash gifts are always welcome, there are also ways to
help GCCC through gifts from your accumulated resources. In
fact, making a planned gift of stocks, artwork or antiques
may actually enable you to make a larger gift than you thought
possible and allow you to provide for family members while
still remembering the GCCC. An added advantage is that, through
planned giving, your current income and estate taxes can be
reduced. Opportunities could include:
- A
gift through your will
- A gift
of real estate
- A gift
of appreciated securities
- A gift
of artwork
- A gift
of antiques
- A gift
of life insurance
To receive
more information about the advantages of planned giving please
contact Eddie Lopez, Director of Development at 914- 949-3098
ext. 130.
